Over the years we were spending too many frustrating hours trawling through all the great and interesting marine sites and magazines, but not actually finding the boat parts we were after. Especially used boat parts! Searching for boat parts was proving painfully laborious. Our hearts would sink as we were overwhelmed by marine gifts and boat themed stuff - anchor cuflinks, marine themed necklaces and even boat decorated undies... Streuth!! How could we ever find used and second-hand boat parts in this internet age?

It slowly dawned that there was very little dedicated to just boat parts (except on-line chandlers). And when we pondered that most of our time playing with boats involved boat parts, and that we're just few of many, we added 2 and 2 together and came up with... BoatPal.

So we decided to do something about it — a site dedicated to just boat parts, used & new, their suppliers, and other marine related services. In effect everything but boats!

So that's us. Intent upon good old fashioned service and wanting to give a web site a human face. Please keep coming back to see what's new while the number of members, links and ads grow.
